20181031_151535 (1) I’m an author, poet, and creator of things imaginary, but I’m a reader across the board. My stories are full of diverse— LGBTQ+, heterosexual, multi-cultural, differently-abled, and of color— characters who go on dangerously awesome adventures with their family and friends. Space-time surely isn’t filled with only straight, Caucasian Humans so why should the stories only be? The same can be said of my Fantasy stories. The more diverse a story is, the better. A non-binary fey? You bet. An elemental spirit with social anxiety or a neuroatypical air elemental? I call either of those a writing challenge.

These days I’ve officially retired from most things aside from writing, cover design, and helping with the small press I also publish through.

My pronouns are she/her or they/them. I’ve lived with the first pair all my life so I accept them, but I like to hear the others every now and then too. 99.5% of the time I reside slightly on the masculine side of the gender spectrum. I’m also an eclectic witch with over two decades of built wisdom and, before you ask, yes I do believe that dark magic and hexing work perfectly well alongside positive energies and prayers.

It’s all in your intent, but I prefer love and light whenever possible.

Can enbies be witches? You betcha! Witch started as a genderneutral term and is regaining that status.

My official author bio is below.

Born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, Science Fiction and Fantasy author Jeanne G’Fellers’ early memories include watching the original Star Trek series with their father and reading the books their librarian mother brought home. Jeanne’s influences include author Anne McCaffrey, Ursula K. LeGuin, Octavia Butler, Isaac Asimov, and Frank Herbert.

Jeanne lives in Northeast Tennessee with their spouse and five crazy felines. Their home is tucked against a small woodland where they regularly see deer, turkeys, raccoons, and experience the magic of the natural world.
