Happy Saturday! It’s time for #Rainbowsnippets*! I’m counting down the days to the release of Surrogate: Hunted on March 1st. And, while the days are ticking away, I am excited to announce that I’m hosting an ebook giveaway to celebrate the upcoming release. I’m giving away three copies of Surrogate: Hunted, your choice of three formats, on March 1st. To enter, click the image above. It’ll open a new tab with the Rafflecopter entry instructions.
The Setup: Etain and Brigit are on the run again, but before they head off, they must say goodbye to their Znyrs allies.
“Move swift and scentless,” said Ytr. “Your instincts will protect you.”
Etain accepted his boost up the wall and extended her hand to Brigit. “Come on.” She pulled Brigit beside her then stared at the darkened street below them. Nights in Crllat were dangerous for many reasons.
“Soft and silent.” Atz gave them their packs. “Take off your tags. They rattle.”
Yes, that. Etain removed her buckle strap and took Brigit’s when she held it out, placing both in Ytr’s hands. “Thank you.” Etain raised his hand in the sign of Znyrs. “Let’s go.”
They slipped into the Clkya night.

Ooh. Happy Saturday! Be well and Happy Writing.

Oh dear. I suspect they will not “go gentle into that good night.”

Um, no. Unfortunately not, but there is a certain gentleness to being quiet because you have to, I suppose.

Thanks. They need all the help they can get.

They’re really not having a good time of it. I like the tension in this.
