#RainbowSnippets #ScienceFiction Twenty-Seven 12/30: Universal Gods

Happy Saturday, everyone. It’s almost a brand new year! Before we leave 2017 behind, I’ve one more #Rainbowsnippet for you from Surrogate: Hunted, which will be released by Supposed Crimes in March 2018. The ebook version will be released on February 18, 2018, so why not head over to Amazon and preorder your copy while you can?

The Rainbow Snippets group on Facebook is “for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction– a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation. (no spoilers please!)”

Here’s another Snippet from Surrogate: Hunted.

The Setup: We’re picking up right where we left off last week. Etain and Brigit are now safe, and they’re learning more about their Cycalk hosts.

Etain speaks first in this snippet.

     …“She is like my own.”

“Ntch.” Trn raised her hand and spread her fingers from her thumb as she moved her wrist from left to right. “This is good!”

Etain spread her fingers from her thumb in the same way and held it up. The sign of Medi. The sign of refuge, of caring for those in need. She hadn’t been raised to embrace the Alyward sign, but every worker knew its meaning.

“We not know Znyrs’ word reach so far.” Trn’s grin spanned her face. “Her word spread through universe!”
